Kate Levy is the driving force at Kalculus. She’s a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales with business acumen and strong ethics that underpin the company’s rapid success. Kate brings a wealth of experience working with businesses and individuals in the creative industries to the company.
Tony Levy joins Kalculus as a principal and consultant. He’s an FCA with 40 years’ experience supporting owner-managed businesses. Tony and his team specialise in advising and acting for businesses and individuals operating in industries ranging from property to recruitment, software to insurance.
Kate’s clients appreciate that she has been where they are and knows where they’re heading. She’s started up and run businesses, so she understands the pressures and challenges that entrepreneurs face.
Kate has sat on both sides of the table: she’s advised and also taken advice. Ultimately, Kate has a real grasp of business, and her advice can be invaluable.
The Kalculus team reflects Kate’s position as one of accounting’s leading women. Kate is keen to encourage return-to-work mums with their strong skill sets by offering flexible employment, saying they “get to do as much or as little work as they want. And it’s been brilliant.”
She has a growing team of Chartered Accountants, experienced bookkeepers, a Company Secretary, a payroll bureau, and tax consultants.
Recently, Kalculus brought Tony Levy and his team on board to diversify the practice expertise.
Kate’s inclusive and empowering values means she often gives talks to women’s organisations and business groups like Women Who and The Industry.
